Hey there, I have a project where I need to animate streams of small objects flowing down tubes. I was thinking of using particular to generate the random objects and add rotation, etc. I was wondering, is there an easy way to make the emitted particles travel down a motion path? Not animate the emitter itself, just the particles.

Thanks!

Look in the Particular help files for info on Motion Path. (It's under the physics group Air>Motion Path. Basically, you animate a light following a certain path and you tell the particles to follow that light. It's pretty fun.

Though this project is probably gone, I would look in to the plugin newton. Basically it is a 2D physics engine, so with some carefull building im sure you could get the particles to follow a specific path.
