Animating Text
on Mar 13, 2014 at 12:24:08 pm

Hi,

I've been using the text animators to animate my text transitions but I can't seem to get a nice fluid motion.

I've been playing around with the ease high and low but have had no luck.

I'm trying to recreate this feel:

When the text beginning "From the first round..." at 0:20 sec

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I don't know how to get the bounce back, but I found this expression on the COW to create that delay effect. It's applied as an expression selector after you create a position Animator text effect.
delay = .03;
slideDur = .6;
myStart = inPoint + textIndex*delay;
easeOut(time,myStart,myStart+slideDur,100,0)

Amor type plugin will do that quite easily, but runs slow on CS6 and CC (but still works)

Here's a more manual approach:
