Remove scratches from "scratched sensor".

Some months ago, i was recording a video, capturing some lasers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jK6L2hGQD_Y) in a live event. That partialy destroyed my sensor, and now my camera has some red markings in the middle of the pic or video.

So here is a sample of a problematic video :

Have a look at the center of the screen, and you will notice some red markings, which looks like scratches.

So, my question is, do you think that i can remove these markings using AE?

Thanks in advance!

Nope, not without some painstaking and time-consuming work done by hand. I'm talking about a whole work week just to fix a pan that lasts a few seconds. Sorry.

If those red spots held still, you MIGHT stand a fighting chance of an automated solution. But they don't, they're not very high-contrast... and because the images behind the spots change color, the spots also change color. They also appear to strobe inconsistently, so any color-changing solution you'd devise would have to be animated... also by hand.

Time to take the camera into the shop for a fix. Or use it exclusively to shoot laser shows.

Why are the red dots moving?

I thought a problem with the sensor should be a still dot.

I think the camera's internal shot stabilization was turned on. Not a good idea, in this case.
