hello,

is there any function in after effects cs6 that allows me to key everything that doesn't move from a shot. in this case, i have a stationary shot, no camera movement, with a person walking past. i want the background to disappear. i know how to rotobrush and mask, i'm looking for something much more simple. like a matte that recognizes movement.

thanks!

Hi David

If you have a clean plate of BG without the person passing by then you can use Difference matte.
