Hi. I need some help with making some jewels look shiny/sparkle. This is easy enough when on a black background but it is on a white background.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this?? would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If it looks good, look at it.

What kind of footage is this? A still? Video, where the jewelry moves on the screen?

It makes a difference.

sorry for the lack of description. This is a still/flat image.

If it looks good, look at it.

If it's a single image, why not just tweak it in PS?

You are right, much easier to do on a black background. I'm assuming the background must stay white correct? You could try making your sparkle a little off white. Also, your white sparkle can work inside the ring where you have a lot of silver. Hope that helps and best of luck.
