After Effects Geforce vs Quadro

Hey just have some questions about the difference between using Geforce card vs Quadro for rendering.
My poor old desktop has struggled thought my learning of editing and its now finding AE a little to much. currently have a Core 2 Duo X6850@4ghz/gtx460/4gbram, and ive ordered an i7 2600/16gbram but i've been very happy with my GTX460 1GB. what i was thinking is buying a newer supported Quadro card to help with rendering times. is it really worth it? or is the 460 powerful enough?

A hot card is irrelevant in AE, because AE can't use it. AE needs fast processors and a lot of RAM to speed rendering. You need a good card for your editing application? Get the card you need for editing. AE's just a secondary consideration.
