Hi There,

Can someone tell me a little about preparing an animated billboard for broadcast? I'm specifically looking for more information about providing mattes and frame rates.

If anyone can provide some info on how this works I'd highly appreciate it.

Thank you

Since we know absolutely NOTHING about your delivery specs, we can't help you. Is this to be HD? SD? If HD, 720 or 1080?

We don't even know your location on planet Earth, which would at least give us a clue about the broadcast system (PAL/NTSC) to use your animations, which would in turn yield a frame rate.

Apologies for haven't further described these essential details. This is for HD 1080p. Location USA, hence NTSC.

This is to air on ESPN. The animation contains alpha channel.

Thanks

Ah. I'm almost 100% certain ESPN publishes a document with technical specifications for delivery of digital media. That's what you follow -- not any advice we might give you.

Interpretation of those specs? We can help there, too.
