Hi, I'm in search of a program for elections presentations for a tv station in reasonable price, no hardware, i just add the data and the bars of the charts increase / decrease accordingly.

Any ideas ?

If you have After Effects then check out Red Giant's Datamator, it does bars and charts: http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/datamator/

hi thanks for your reply, I've used datamator for AE before but that stuff needs to be rendered first, we need real time graphics to cover the elections outcome as it progress.

We need to constantly feed data and the program to increase / decrease the charts/graphs for us.

I've found WASP3D but this involves hardware as well (like touch screens, VR studios etc) and it's way to expensive.

this only takes 1 sec to update so it might work. render out the bars and graphs then using videocopilot's timeremapping expression, you get animated graphs without render time.

There really isn't a good solution for you if you need live, on-air graphics for broadcast. Every system I'm aware of uses hardware to make it work.

Is there additional software you can add to your current character generator?
