Tutorials for a beginner, cartoon stuff (2D)

Hi

I want to learn how to use After Effects. But mostly for making small cartoon-like animations. Something like the stuff from jib jab or some kind of south park rip off (to begin with). Maybe some desperate housewives look-a-like stuff too

Could any of you recommend a few tutorials, for a complete beginner.
Maybe something like a list, - what I should start with and what I can go to next.

I know final cut, and some very basic photoshop if that helps...

A lot of what make Jib Jab and the Desperate House Wise open cool is Z space. Check out this tutorial for AE.

For cartooning, you might want to try toonboom studio over AE, just because it is customized for this kind of work.
