1080i 29.97 export for a 59.94i Avid project

Hi,
Having this issue with GFX I am getting.

My Project and Footage is in 1080i 59.94 (29.97)
I am getting the GFX form the company as 29.97p, with the Animation Codec.
After asking them to deliver it as interlaced, I still get the Data saying its Progressive, but it seems like its behaving as Interlaced when I bring it into Avid (though I cam not 100% sure)
They did check the Upper field first, and on their end when they test the output AE file after bringing it back into AE it tells them its interlaced.
When I did a test using the Apple ProRes 444 upper field the Data is saying its Interlaced footage.

So is it possible that Using the Animation Codec the Data wont show this info or is there another way to get those GFX exported the right way?

Thanks,

How does it look? It's possible that it's just not giving the info. So long as it's behaving and everything looks as it should, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks,
When importing the file in 1080i it looks fine, when I change the project to 1080p so you can see the interlaced lines.
Thats why I assumed it is 1080i and not real 1080p

Yup, if you see those horizontal lines when something moves, you've got interlaced footage. Just make sure the field order is upper first for 1080 and you should be good to go.
