I just got my new workstation and was hoping to improve my rendering times mainly for very high-res timelapse work.
I am rendering dng-sequences through Adobe Camera-Raw on AE-CC 2014. Comp size is 8192x4608@29,97fps and 16-bit. Output codec is Cineform 444 Filmscan1 AVI.
Its a Lenovo ThinkStation D30.
2x Intel Xeon E5-2665 (16x 2,4GHz) with HT activated.
128GB DDR3 1600 RAM
nVidia Quadro 6000
Mushkin Scorpion Deluxe 240GB PCIe SSD

I allocated 12-cores (from 32) with 6GB RAM each.
Disc Cache is at 80GB on the Main SSD (does 1,5-2GB/s). Output path is to an external RAID Station.
Here is a screenshot of the Task-Manager when the drop in CPU-usage occurs:

I also checked other discussions but couldn't find a solution:
I am certainly not the first person with these problems.
Anybody an idea?

Well it's a bit embarrassing to say. But I solved it. Didn't checked the option: "Reduce Cache Size When System Is Low On Memory".
Working like a beast now.
