Changing size of text layer using a spreadsheet
on Oct 9, 2013 at 11:03:20 am

Hi all,

I'll be having a big localization session for an AE project I've just completed using CompsFromSpreadsheet 4.

Some of the languages will make the text lines a bit too long, and so I will need to scale that particular line down a touch - but was wondering, is there a method of creating a field in that spreadsheet that will do that work for me?

Does that make sense?

Many thanks!
Tom

Just recently started using that script and nothing I saw will allow you to do that. Two suggestions, build your template to your longest string of text, then you can't go wrong. Also, I find that if you post at aescripts.com in in the comments section of the particular script, the author will get back to you pretty quickly. There is a lot of good information in the comments too, so maybe you might find your question already answered.
