CC Cylinder (Coca Cola effect)- Rotating logo
on Oct 2, 2013 at 10:06:27 am

Hello,

I know the theory of how this effect is done

.

Use the CC Cylinder and bulge to rotate de logo. But when it comes to the bottle, how do I place the logo behind it?

Thank you very much in advance.

If you mean the logo/bottle animation at the end, that was most likely done in a 3D app. That would be the easiest way to create that.

Thanks for the reply. This is what i did.

1.-I applied the CC Cylinder to the logo, and set the bottle as a track matte.
2.- Precom the layers and convert it to 3d.
3.- Finally I created a 3d null object to do the zoom effect.

The problem is that when it zooms the bottle and logo don't look sharp. I know it improves with the Continuous Rasterization but for that I need all the layers to be 3d, and that affects the track matte and the CC Cylinder.

How can this effect be done in 3D??
