Looking for a way to import text with modified font from Illustrator into After Effects, which I can then manipulate and create a motion path for.
Unfortunately I dont have the original font file just the .ai file.

Any ideas would be fantastic.

Open the AI file and select and copy the paths, then in AE, create a solid, cntl+v and you should paste all the paths as masks.
