I just encountered a tricky issue when trying to combine a 2D Solid Layer (3D turned on) with the particle replicator from Elements.
I want to build a scene where a layer (in this case greenscreen keyed person) is surrounded by a circle of 3d objects. So I build a circle with the particle replicator and placed the layer right in the middle of it. Unfortunately the result is not quite what I expected..see the video:
That explains it all I hope. Since in the timeline the 2D-Solid is above the Elements-Layer ..it covers in fact the 3D objects..but is NOT covered by the balls in front of it. How can I achieve this ?
