Hello,

I have a basic question. I made comp markers based on one of the clips in the timeline. Now I want to move the movie clip a little but I noticed that I can't move the comp markers along with that. I am hoping that I can either do:

1. Select multiple comp markers and move them at once
2. Link the markers with the clip so that they move as I move the movie clip.

Any tips? Thanks!

Before you move the layer, you can create layer markers on the layer you want to move. After that, these markers stay with the layer.

Move the timeline cursor to the point where you want to add the marker, highlight the layer, and hit the asterisk (*) key on the NUMERIC keypad. If you double-click on a marker, it opens a window that lets you make annotations that appear nest to the marker right on the layer.

Oh, I see... so basically there is no way to select the multiple comp markers?

I don't know: once I realized there were only 10 comp markers, but an unlimited number of layer markers, I've only used comp markers for moving quickly and precisely around a comp. That's their real value.

They're also easily moved, so you can establish a new set of them once you're doe with the old set... and your layer markers are still there if you need them. I find the two kinds of markers used in tandem to be very handy.
