Hi,

I'm trying to do radio wave animation based on this static sample and have worked up this bull's eye - how too I get to concentric circles like this? Thanks in advance.

There are controls in the Radio Waves effect that let you specify the rate at which waves originate and their thickness. It's all a matter of timing. They'll all be the same color, and you could specify their fade-out rate, so the circles get progressively darker if they're over black.

If you want circles of different colors, you could use multiple instances of AE's Circle effect. Personally, I'd use Circle for this instead of Radio Waves. It's more work, but you get greater control.

For the second image, You can create the circles with no gaps in between if you decrease the Expansion value in "Wave Motion" menu.

Thank you so much Dave & Vishesh, I think I'm really on the right path now. Probably going the circles route.
