Is there a way to make the xyz arrows solid? I'm moving a null around and key framing it and I have to hover over the arrows until I see x, y or z pop up, then I can drag the layer, but often I move an underlying layer inadvertently. It's quite annoying!

[Donald Mitchell] "It's quite annoying!"

This is the first time in my memory this particular question has cropped up, and I'm sorry to report that the answer seems to be "no". A quick search in AE's Online Help using the search term "3D layer handles" turned up nothing on it.

It did, however, turn up a link to the Pro Video Coalition, where Chris Meyer made a wry comment on 3D layers. They have that name, he says, because it takes three times as long to do anything with them. And this is from a gent who has used the application since CoSA After Effects: version 1.0, before Adobe bought it.

Well, I'm excited to have asked an original question! Chris Meyer as well as being funny is right - 3D in AE is pretty much a dreadful fudge. Thanks for trying to find out for me.
