Hi Guys. This sounds really simple but I can't figure it out...

I've just tracked a ball bouncing.

I want to show the curve of the ball as it bounces, so I want a stroke to sort of come out of the back of the ball.

So essentially there will be a ball with a smooth trail coming out of it as it moves.

The tracking data is perfect, and I've linked it to a null object.

I just want a trail to come out the null object.

Anybody know how I can do this?

Would help SO much!

Lots of ways to do this - perhaps Effect>Generate>Write-on is the most intuitive. Write-on has a Brush Position property where you can create an Expression link to your tracked data. Of course, you could also copy the tracked data and paste it into the Brush Position property.
