What kind of computer do I need for AE CS5.5?

Hello everyone,
I want to build a strong computer that will be able to work fluently with full-HD layers, and also will be good for work at Premiere pro and Avid 5.5.

My budget is around 1800-2000$ while I don't need any other hardware.
I'll be very happy for any kind of advise.

Thank you very much!

Get as powerful a processor as you can.
Get lots and lots of RAM.
For Premiere, make sure you get a video card that's approved for use with the Mercury Playback Engine.
Make sure to have a good amount of hard drive space.

Michael hit the high points. I'll add another suggestion, though: multiple fast hard disks---not just one.

The budget is relatively small but for this price but the macbook pro 15'" i7 is a very performant machine.
Give it at least 8 or 16 GO RAM, add a 7200 rpm drive and you will be good. Add an external screen and you will have a powerful HD editing suite.
