Cannot render to 5120x768

Hi folks.
I need to render a video to 5120x768, but my video is rendered as 4096x768 with grey spaces at the bottom and top! What did I do wrong?
The render settings all show 5120x768, but the rendered video (H.264/MP4) is only 4096 pixels wide.

[Toby Hruna] "The render settings all show 5120x768, but the rendered video (H.264/MP4) is only 4096 pixels wide."

Many codecs intended for final content delivery are restricted to various frame sizes at the different profile levels.

I believe 4096x2048 is the highest possible resolution for H.264 using High Profile 5.1.

You'll have to output to something that is less picky. Maybe Lossless or ProRes if you have it. If those aren't working than an image sequence should definitely work.

Thanks a lot! I had almost feared that.
I'm working on a project that will be used for an installation with a surround projection of 5 projectors (so 5 x 1024x768 pixels). I was working with the entire 5120-pixel project and wanted to crop the single videos (it will need to be split) afterwards. Now I guess I will simply render the 5 single videos out from AE directly.
Thanks for your effort guys!

What's telling you that it's 4096 wide?

VLC does. And when I import the footage into AE again it also says 4096.

This might be a little late, but was there any solution to this without splitting the shot up?
