Well, what exactly are you doing? It sounds like you're trying to use the wiggle expression, but with which property?

I have a layered character travelling in a car.... so I group together with a nul things like - arm, body, hand.... then group together other things like car body, bumpers etc.... so....

hoping that I can make them all wiggle but at slightly different timings so that it gives a travelling bumping sensation...

So I add wiggle position to the null and it doesnt wiggle its position!

thasnks for your time

You apply a wiggle expression to the position property of one of the nulls and that null doesn't move? Screenshot of your timeline please. Also, which null did you apply it to?
