Hi,

I was wondering does anyone know how to to Make a mask Move over text?

I'm needing to hide a box of text from the bottom left side to the top right side, and then back again revealing a different box of text.

but I can't seem to work out how to make the Mask Move...?

Why don't you use a solid as a track matte? I do that all the time, and it works like a charm.

To answer your actual question about animating masks, keyframe the mask shape.

As someone new to AE, I highly recommend you start here [link] and work your way through all of the linked resources.
