Skip frames :1

Hi guys,

I have some footage, like the way it look when i set skip frames:1 in ram preview. Tried a few expressions to do that in the render, and all the expressions do is speed the footage up. arg.

How do i get what i see in the ram preview, into a final render.

Cheers, as always

Paul

Nest your current comp in a new comp, and make the new comp's frame rate half of your current comp.

That advice is based on what you shared with the group about your project's specifics. Which is to say, this trick may work just fine, or it might not look all that great.

Hi there,

You can use the Posterize Time effect to change the frame rate of your footage to any frame rate you like.

I hope this helps.

Hi, there.

I tried posterize but I think i might not have been setting it up right. It just looked a little nasty.

This is the result I got with nest the comp in another comp with a slower frame rate
