Hi,

Am attemting to centre a text layer in a comp...both horiziontally and vertically on a page.

Is there a way to do this simply in After effects?

(I found a solution that refers to having to resort to scripting...)

Thanks.

SPACEMAN suggests that Matthew uses rulers (cmd>r) to mark centre screen, (creating a new layer will show you the centre anchor point) then writes his text and alligns using the paragraph tab. (window>paragraph)

SPACEMAN needs spaceship parts, not expressions...

Use the align panel.
