Particles transistioning into shape
on Aug 5, 2014 at 5:16:29 pm

Hey guys, This is my first time posting on here so please excuse me if this is in the wrong place or not very clear.

I want to have particles floating around the screen then all pull in to form the outline of an object. any tips on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

an example of what i'm talking about is in this video between 0:36 and 0:43

Thanks ahead for any help.

What particle systems are you using?

I'm wondering if they did that in C4D, it would be pretty easy to add clones to one spline, add a random effector and then have them move to a second spline.

Not sure it can be done with particular, maybe Trapcode Form. But with particular, I can can't see how you would get the particles to return to a different shape.
