Alright so I know that the values between two key frames are determined by After Effects by means of linear/quadratic functions but my problem is that the values between two keyframes that are exactly the same value change. For example the first keyframe is -300 and the second is -300. How do i keep every value the same between these two keyframes without adding keyframes for every frame inbetween.

normally you'd just set another keyframe with that same value (or copy/paste the keyframe), however, i think you are experiencing the 'boomerang' effect that can happen with non-linear spacial interpolation.... see these tutorials:

for a quick remedy, try selecting the two keyframes and choose animation>keyframe interpolation. set the spacial interpolation to linear.

Change the keyframe interpolation to "LINEAR".
