Hi guys, I am quite new to photoshop and After effects and I am having trouble making a lamp flicker steadily faster and brighter in darkness for a title sequence... Any ideas as to how to do it? Even if it means having just a the standard 'light' moving across thats fine. Cheers, Chris.

What are you struggling with? Keyframing the light? Making the light in the first place? What have you tried?

There are several tutorials kicking around for making a light flickering in AE. Try this Google search or this custom search.

If you're new to AE, you should definiteily start here, instead of jumping right in to a project. AE's not a program you can just pick up by fiddling around. If you get a good foundation early, you will avoid much frustration later.
