No Audio After Rendering in AE CS5
on Aug 25, 2010 at 9:25:53 pm

I have the audio box checked and the audio works in ram preview and when I play it in AE. But whenever I render (in any format) there is never any audio, just video.

Is this a codec problem? I unistalled all my codecs and downloaded Windows 7 Codec pack.

Computer specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
Adobe After Effects CS5
Intel i3 processor
4GB Ram

If you render using the AE Render Queue, the default setting is video only. You have to open your comp's Output Module in the Render Queue and tell AE to render audio.

Don't forget: you can create your own custom Output Module settings choosing from a variety of codecs and quality settings, and use them as the default for movies, stills, RAM Previewing, etc.:

You can do the same for Render Settings, too.
