Trying to make a clip where a big tree enters the scene from left and exits right. Drawing it all on photoshop and when i import it to after effects it just crops all the layers that aint in view. the tree layer doesnt fits in the file's dimension compleatly, is there a way to preserve the file's dimension without cropping the layers? just want to have that layer off screen and drag it in later on.

using cs4 and importing by going to:

file > import > file > and select the psd file as composition only

There should be an option to pick cropped layers or the document dimension.

i can only see the cropped layers option when importing, it lets you choose betweve composition or composition with cropped layers. im picking composition only, but still it crops the layers
