Hello! I am working on a project. I need to rotate a honeycomb-shaped layer into 3d Space. I want to rotate it on the Y axis
.

But, when i do this, it does not rotate on the axis-line!?
.

It seems to rotate on the center-axis? I am using a camera.
Am i hitting the limit of the semi-3d of After Effects?
Any idea's?

You'll either have to make a new hexagon where the anchor point is in the precise center of the layer, or move the layer's current anchor point... which I suggest doing in 2D so to make it easier.

Thank you for your response :)
The anchor point is in the precise center of the layer :)
Just for info, there are 2 hexagons on top of eachother here, a brown on the bottom and a grey one which i am trying to rotate. As you can see, the anchor point is centered.

[Frank Gerstaff] "The anchor point is in the precise center of the layer :) "

I beg to differ. Look at your own picture of the layer and the location of the anchor point. You will notice that it doesn't sit in the precise center of the bounding box: there's a little more empty space on one side than on the other. You'll have to fix that.
