• | invert intersection of 2 black objects

Maybe it's easy, but I can't find the right way to get the intersecting parts of two black objects white. It works with the Difference Blending Mode, but only if I change the black color of the layers to white and put another white layer in the background. This would mean a lot of work for all the objects I want to be inverted when black meets black. Is there a quicker way?

How about finishing the animation and precomp top? half, dupe it and make bottom white
then use the blending mode?

Reality? What did you make it?

Hi Keith, sorry I saw your post only now. Thanks for your response. I'm not exactly sure what it means. But I figured out that there is an invert channel effect. This could work with an adjustment layer in each comp, I guess. Maybe not, because it influences the white parts as well. Anyway, it seems that I won't get around some detail work. I'll keep on trying :)
