Hello,

I'd like to know how can I transform a letter of a text into another, of a different TTF.
For an example: I'd like to make an animation of a "z" in times new roman tranforming (reshaping?) into a "a" in arial font.

And do I need to do that in Flash? Does it look better?
Thank you very much,
L.

In the AE tutorials section, you will find an old tutorial by Rick Gerard on morphing text using a combination of Illustrator and After Effects. I will still work in current AE and Illustrator versions.

In his tutorial example, Rick morphs from one set of letters to a different set in the same font. I don't see why it wouldn't work with two different typefaces, either. Here's the link:

Thank you very much, Dave! I'm trying to follow the tutorial you sent, but its a bit complicated so far. I'll let you know if I make it.

Thanks again!
Leandro.
