I am new to the creative COW platform so please forgive me if I crossed some unknown rules about creating a post!
(I tried searching for my problem but couldn't find it)
I am a student and overall pretty new to AE. I made a composition in Illustrator and imported it into AfterEffects.
In the composition I have an 'air' background which consists out off several rectangles.
This is what it looks like in AI:
And this is what it looks like in AE:
As you can see (I hope) in AI it looks quite clean, but in AE there are dark edges around some of the rectangles.
I have tried anything I could think of to get rid of those darker borders but I just can't solve it.
Anyone with a good tip to help me out?
(I know the colours are different as well, has to do with my color settings still on CMYK in AI. If I change that it doesnt solve my problem however)

If you're using color management, don't. Plain old RGB is fine. And for use in AE, the Illustrator file should be RGB, not CMYK. If you're on a Mac, Quicktime there could also be an issue that gamma may not be set properly.
