I'm trying to combine two shots together with a blur and pan, to make it look as if they were shot in the same room. I'm fairly certain I've seen this done once before in AE, but I've searched and searched, and have found nothing. Thanks.

....and your question is what?

It's dead simple -- animate horizontal position, and crank up the motion blur. Depending on your shots, there may be chroma key or roto work involved.

Are you trying to make a transition between the shots, or a new composited shot out of the two existing shots?

Screenshots will help you clarify.
