Dear CC community!

Time has come where I myself have to declare a defeat..

I want to import my vanishing point from photoshop as a .vpe fil into afterffects and then create a 3d-like scene out of it.

I know the drill and have done it sucessfuly before, however when I do it now each layer looks cmpletely distorted and out of perspective compared to how i fitted it in photoshop?

Anyone experienced something similar or can help?

screen from Photoshop

screen from AE

Please describe your import and export process...in exact detail. Frame size, pixel aspect, etc. thanks.

Thanks for replying!

So my pic in photoshop is 5760x3840. I export it to AE as a .vpe file.

In AE i import the .vpe file and double click the ready made composition which has the same size (and corresponding frame size).

Pixel aspect is set to 3:2 (1,5) (its not locked)

I never looked into this pixel ratio and learned it so maybe thats the problem?

Looking forward hearing back from you!

What is your comp size in After Effects?

When i import the .vpe various layers appear in my project folder including a new comp.

Ijust double click the ready made comp and it makes the same size as the photo of photoshop: 5760x3840?

Its as if the after effects completely distorts the perspective i made in photoshop and put in something else?

Bests

Well I had hoped it was easy.

Twirl down the camera options and mess with z-rotation, see what happens. You might need to search for After Effects camera tutorials.

Sorry :/
