Phyllis YazbekA simple question about template
by on May 1, 2016 at 11:18:08 pm

hello gurus,

I have a template with 10 Medias (Slides).
The template duration is set to 44:47
I want to add few video clips to couple of the media slides.
My clips varies in duration. the largest one is two minutes.
I tried to change the duration for "Media_1" in the composition settings but it only plays the default duration set by the author.

How can I change the duration properly?

I learned AF as much as I could just to do this one time personal slideshow.

I Thank you in advance for your help

Templates tend to be complicated and there is very little that is standardized in them.
If this "Media 1" is a comp nested inside another comp, it behaves like a layer in that comp. This means you can trim its out point. If any animation takes place at the end of this layer, you will need to move the keyframes or re-write an expression.
Or you may have to change the timing of a slider elsewhere. As I said, templates tend to be complicated.
