Mocha tracking to an illustrator animation in AE
on Apr 11, 2016 at 5:26:11 pm

So - I'm doing a screen replacement for a phone in AE. The blank screen is being replaced with an animation made in AE of AI objects.

When the Mocha tracking information is entered into the comp, the AI animation becomes completely pixelated.

I've tried all the methods. The most sucessful for a clean track is, making a pre-comp the size of the main comp, and stretching the AI animated comp to fit. Then applying the tracking data. Within the pre-comp, it is a clean picture.

I cannot figure out why this is so blurry and it's driving me CRAZY!!!

any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping it's an easy fix!

Thanks!

i actually got the answer from the people over at Mocha. Instead of using the data export including motion blur, I had to use the data with just the corner pins.

In case anyone else runs into that issue!
