I have a 600fps clip, interpreted it into 60fps, dragged it into a comp, and set the stretch to 10%, making the 600fps clip run at 60fps. When I RAM Preview at QUARTER resolution with no effects added, it still previews around 1 frame every 5-10 seconds. Really frustrating. I don't know for sure if the clip being 600fps is the culprit, but I really want this figured out. I know my computer can run things like this, (I can render at 1920:1080 clip at 60fps with a boatload of effects added faster than this)

[Sam Randa] "I have a 600fps clip, interpreted it into 60fps, dragged it into a comp, and set the stretch to 10%, making the 600fps clip run at 60fps. "

You've already slowed the clip down by interpreting it at 60fps. If you want it to run at 60fps, you do not need to also timestretch the clip.
