I'm trying to create a UI element that is "pressure sensitive" with inferred style visuals. I am using Colorama to do so but I want to be able to use a black and white alpha matte to animate the colors. Is there a way to connect the black and white values to an expression control slider(Have white be say 0 and black be 360)?

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Andy

If you want the phase adjusted by your matte on a per-pixel basis, you probably want to use the "Add Phase" Colorama feature option (if not simply using "Get Phase From" directly).

If you need to do this via expressions, you can use sampleImage(). Check out Dan Ebberts's website:

Thank you very much Walter, I knew it was something simple like that just didn't know where to find it.

Glad you could help, I always find myself with what I feel is a simple question yet I don't have anyone I can ask.

Thanks again for the help!
Andy
