I have a slider if I change it with not key frame, I see the action of the slider.
But if I do key frame the visual those not change any more , it stays at the first value.
but the slider numbers change true time but with not visual impact

What's the expression that's controlling the size and referencing the slider?

[max arch] "it on a other comp"

Are the comps offset in time? In other words, does the first frame of your eye comp line up with the first frame of the controller comp that contains it, or is there a difference?

This expression should work if the two comps share common time.

Adjusting the time of the comp is the easiest way, but you can do it with expressions, too.

As long as you know what the time offset is, you could use valueAtTime() to compensate. For example, if your precomp layer starts at 1 second in on the main comp:

comp("eye main").layer("eye controller").effect("iris control")("Slider").valueAtTime(time+1)
