So I shot on a Canon 60D with the nifty 50 and they only had LED lights to light the space for the event. I'm not worried about the color but there are moving lines running up the screen in certain places. It's not like I know moire to be from a pattern or something- it's moving lines going up the screen. I'm using CS6 Adobe Premier and After Effects on a:

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012)
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB

Is there any way I can fix this? It's not possible to reshoot.

Lift up the flag and wave it high...Our time is NOW!

"Moving lines" is quite vague. Could you post a screenshot? Or a short clip?

Is this the sort of interference you get if you shoot at 59.94, but the electricity's at 50HZ?

Were these good LED's or crummy ones? If they weren't good theatrical ones or ones made for TV, you're pretty much hosed. The power supplies on the good ones cycle at a really fast frequency -- you can't see the lights turn on & off, even though they do. The crummy ones cycle at a much lower frequency -- good enough to fool they eye, but not the camera.

Interference from bad-frequency lights is horrible to fix. Think in terms of an hour or so per second... more if you shot at a high frame rate. And it's all hand work. Nothing automatic about it.

I made a free template that automates the process.

ae cs5.5

remove strobing blur/moire lines

1. mask out the bad part
2. median effect for chroma blur
3. shutter blur the strobing
4. vibrance the lost color
