FPS not realtime when pre rendering

So I got this problem recently, when pre rendering and then playing, the FPS is never realtime. I have no idea what could have caused this as it worked before... Does anybody have an idea of what could have happened?

I'm using After Effects 2014.1 on Windows 10.

Perhaps the frame rate of the comp was wrong when you prerendered.
Perhaps you rendered in an intermediate codec -- WHICH IS THE PROPER THING TO DO. They don't play back well in a media player. They can't. The files are just too big.

The footage and the comp was the same FPS, I think I've found the problem now though. The zoom has to be at 50%, otherwise the FPS won't match realtime.

Real time playback in a media player or in After Effects IS NOT IMPORTANT for a prerender. The fact that it is a high quality, lossless file is much more important.

It is up to you to make sure you made no mistakes in AE before you prerender.
