first of all, Happy new year

I have used rotobrush to segment a video on an element whose color is close to the background. and even if rotobrosh did a great job, i have an issue with an unstable mask shape over time. is there a solution in After effect to edit the mask that rotobrush creates? because in my case i dont think it is easy to give more information to rotobrush to force certain masks to a desired shape.

In Flash there is a great feature called "onion peel" that allow to edit element for animation. does it exist a way to do that in after effect to correct a mask shape over time and keep consistency?

thanks a lot

Sorry, but no. In extreme situations you. must tweak the edges frame by frame. It IS easier than fooling with masks frame by frame, however.

But Rotobrush just can't solve everything.
