Hi.

I'm wondering how I would animate the penguin's flipper that is in the air to wave back and forth. JUST that flipper. Could someone please explain to me how I would achieve that? Thanks!

Just cut the part you want to animate in Photoshop to a new layer, paint the background in to match where the flipper was cut from, and bring it in to AE, then animate.

For some reason I can't see the image but it sounds like some Photoshop work is in order. You'll need to make 2 images in it: the wing only, and the rest of the image with NO wing... and the hole repaired where the wing used to be.

Then it's easy to animate in AE.
