I have a simple question. I want to animate a few lines making a grid, each of them starting from the bottom of the screen and ending somewhere in the middle on the y-axis. Each of them should have a specific color and glow. Besides I want the first one to start at certain point and each next one with a delay. How do I do that in the most rational way possible?

Do you want horizontal lines, too? I'd guess so, but it isn't clear.

Yes, I didn't mention them because I thought they'd be irrelevant since they'll be done the same way, right?

Several copies of a Shape layer path with trim paths added is one idea. You could use a time*index expression to drive the trim paths end values. Expressions are a good way to distribute the shapes as well, but I don't know how versed you are in writing them.
