Hello All...

Looking for some guidance...

Changing gears midlife, I have chosen to begin learning and creating mograph and animation via primarily AE. Scheduling 23 hours a week to this task for 2016.

Starting from scratch I am asking for 2 pieces of collected wisdom...

1. great sources to begin learning ae cc, platform/scripts/expressions
2. pc specs (i currently have i7 5960x extreme, 64 ddr4 gig ram) this system will only be used for AE and premiere...nothing else.

came upon this

thank you all in advance...

This is the best (free) resource I know to get started:
Those specs look decent. The GPU will matter for Premiere. If you have an SSD for your AE cache, that will help.

thanks mike...great resource

I also joined some tutorials from bluefx and schoolofmotion

I figure spending the 23 hours a week on actually doing AE will serve me better then enrolling in formal education on this topic.
