I am struggling quite a bit to achieve the following effect:
I would like to let two objects (3D objects (.c4d) to be more specific) run into each other and before they crash together, make them break apart into their particles to form another object. The idea is to let the particles form some sort of a little whirlwind together before they eventually take the shape of the third object.
I'm limited to Trapcode Particular, Form and Elements 3D.
Now my first idea was to use Particular with a layer emitter, however I can't seem to find a way to control the emitted particles well enough to form the above mentioned twister/whirlwind. I was hoping I could get them on a Motion Path but this doesn't seem to work with a layer as the emitter.
Is there a chance anybody here can point me into the right direction of how to approach this? Is it even possible? Thanks in advance!
