Hey all,

I'm having a very strange issue in After Effects where it will RAM Preview certain audio layers in my project and not others (ie: the music but no voiceover). I've tried purging the cache / disk memory, re-importing the audio file (wav) with a new name, restarting both AE and my computer. When it renders the audio all comes though. I have no idea what to do!

Im using After Effects CC 2014.2 on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5.

Some possibilities:

You have mp3 files in the project, or some other kind of compressed audio file. Use Adobe Audition to convert them to wav or aiff files & reimport into AE.

Video files have muxed audio -- embedded in the video track. Use a different application to export the video in a lossless codec with separate audio tracks, or export just the audio.

You've turned the little speaker icons off. Turn them back on.
