Greg JacksonApplying a Nuke LUT in AE

I have some dark source footage that needs matching to another brighter shot.
I have an LUT file (.csp file) generated in Nuke 8 via a Matchgrade node set to 3D LUT mode, which creates the match in Nuke perfectly.

How can this LUT file be applied correctly to the same footage loaded into AE CS6?

AE setup:
32Bits per channel
Working space: none

* I tried “Apply color LUT” which makes the footage go almost black and white with a slight blue tint
* Then I tried “LUT buddy” which actually makes the footage darker rather than brighter.
* Lastly I tried OpencolorIO which make the footage brighter but hugely washed out.

I suspect OpencolorIO can provide the correct result but not sure what I can change as it doesn’t have many options.

Any help, massively appreciated!
